Tuesday, June 13 4:00pm until 8:00pm at District Office

Note: If you have registered with the Dutchess County Board of Elections or the Hyde Park Central School District in the past four years , you are eligible to vote in the school district election on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 . If you have not already registered, you may follow the registration schedule listed above.

Absentee Ballots

You may apply for an application to vote by absentee ballot if you are unable to appear in person on the day of the election due to being hospitalized, your duties, occupations, business or studies (for college students); vacation, etc. Applications are available through the district clerk or online. The official voting ballot is then issued after receipt of the completed application and must be returned to the district clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the vote.

Voter Requirements

In order to vote in the budget vote and Board of Education elections you most:

Be at least 18 years of age
Be a resident of the Hyde Park Central School District for at least 30 days prior to the day of the vote: Tuesday, June 20, 2006
Be a citizen of the United States
Be registered as a voter with the school district Board of Registration or with the Dutchess County Board of Elections
