Proposition 2 - Replacement Of School Buses And Purchase Of Transportation Equipment And Maintenance Vehicle And Equipment:

RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Hyde Park Central School District, Dutchess County, New York, be and it hereby is authorized to replace the following school buses and vans and to purchase the following transportation and maintenance vehicles/equipment:

Six (6) 72-Passenger Buses, not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $480,000; One (1) Service Van with shelving, not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $35,176; One (1) One Ton Pick Up Truck with plow, not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $26,205, and that the total sum of $541,381, or so much thereof, as may be necessary, shall be raised by the levy of a tax upon the taxable property of the School District, and collected in annual installments as provided by Section 416 of the Education Law, and in anticipation of such tax, obligations of said School District shall be issued.
