REPLACEMENT OF SCHOOL BUSES AND PURCHASE OF TRANSPORTATION
EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT

Shall the following proposition be adopted:

RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Hyde Park Central School District, Dutchess County, New York, be and it hereby is authorized to replace the following school buses and purchase the following transportation equipment and maintenance vehicles and equipment:

Two (2) 30 passenger vans, one (1) wheel chair van, and four (4) 22 passenger vans; not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $343,089; a transportation plow truck; not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $115,000; 4 dodge 1 ton 4x4 with plows and options; not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $155,000 and grounds equipment (1 Jacobsen production mower and 1 seedavator), not to exceed an estimated maximum amount of $71,252; and that the total sum of $684,341, or so much thereof, as may be necessary, shall be raised by the levy of a tax upon the taxable property of the school district, and collected in annual installments as provided by Section 416 of the Education Law, and in anticipation of such tax, obligations of said school district shall be issued and a tax levied to pay the interest on said obligations when due.
