| National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities |
The National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF) was created in 1997 by the U.S. Department of Education and is a free public service that provides information on planning, designing, funding, building, improving, and maintaining schools. The Clearinghouse is managed by the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS).
