This policy of nondiscrimination includes: access by students to educational programs, counseling services for students, course offerings and student activities, recruitment and appointment of employees and employment pay, benefits, advancement and/or terminations.
The Board of Education believes that equal opportunity in education is fundamental to equality in all other forms of human endeavor and declares it to be the policy of this district to provide an equal opportunity for all children to achieve their maximum potential through the programs offered in these schools regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin, place of residence, disability, or social and economic background.

The Board authorizes the Superintendent to establish any and all rules, regulations and procedures necessary to implement and maintain this policy.
