Congratulations to senior Christine Batson, Scholastic Arts And Writing Regional Competition Winner, who has been granted the American Visions Medal (best in show) in the National Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition for her photograph of her dad on a swing. Christine’s photo was selected out of 140,000 works of art, then sent on to the national level. Christine was one of 81 students selected for this national honor. Christine will be receiving her award at Carnegie Hall in the beginning of June.
