HPE Building Level Team (BLT)

Hyde Park Elementary School has a Building Level Team to address needs, issues and concerns of our school community. Building Level Teams were authorized by the New York State Education Department. Our team includes community members, parents, school staff and faculty and Mr. Frandino, our principal. Meetings are held monthly at Hyde Park Elementary School.

The mission of our B.L.T. is to improve our school. The goals reflect not only the needs of our school itself, but also those of our district, as identified by the Hyde Park Central School District Level Team. Presently the H.P.E. Building Level Team is looking to increase and improve school and community connections. Another focus is to promote healthy eating and exercise by our students, faculty and staff. We are also working with our school community to increase the understanding of our diversity and uniqueness and how this impacts learning. Finally our faculty is working on improving writing instruction and the skills of our students.

Together, community members, parents, faculty and staff can make Hyde Park Elementary School the best it can be!
