Mr. William Frandino,
|
Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members: With the lack of snow and rather warm temperatures it feels as though we are moving into the spring season sooner than the calendar would indicate. This spring brings with it great challenges for our district and specifically for the Hyde Park Elementary community. Economic pressures and concern for efficiency of human resources are creating important moments for decision. I am fully appreciative of the careful consideration and effective discourse surrounding these issues demonstrated by administrators, faculty and staff, parents, and community members. Trying times present an opportunity for our children to observe how the adults around them approach solutions and advocate effectively for specific outcomes. Hyde Park Elementary is a community proud of our historic roots and tireless in our pursuit of increased student learning. It is a confirmation of strong values and conscientious concern for young people that our school community participates fully in the decision-making process currently taking place. I applaud this participation and continue to advocate with the community in the best interest of our students. Sincerely, William M. Frandino, Principal |
