Memorial Day Celebration

The students at Ralph R. Smith Elementary School participated in a school-wide event to celebrate Memorial Day. Soldiers were invited to talk to the students and lead some of the festivities. We all looked on as some students read facts about the flag and Memorial Day. We sang the Star Spangled Banner and we culminated the activity with a school-wide singing of I'm Proud to be an American.
