Elementary Art Show at Samuel B. Morse Home

From Saturday, March 20, 2004 through Sunday, March 28, 2004 the Samuel Morse Historic Site hosted a show of elementary student art in the Locust Grove Conference Center. The show was sponsered by the local chapter of NYS Art Teachers' Association and Dianne Knapp, Hyde Park art teacher at Ralph R. Smith and Violet Avenue Elementary Schools, headed the committee that organized the event. Students from Ralph R. Smith, Hyde Park and Violet Avenue Elementary Schools had art displayed, along with other students from across Dutchess County. Pictures of some of the works exhibited are shown below.

Also, our Haviland Middle School orchestra members provided music under the direction of Dana White-Marks.
